UNGA
The primary policy-making body of the United Nations is the UN General Assembly (UNGA). It is comprised of all member states and provides a unique forum for multilateral discussion of a variety of international issues covered by the United Nations Charter. Each of the United Nations' 193 member states has an equal vote.
AGENDA:-
Deliberating the fall of democratic standards and the rise of far-right politics in the world
"If we incline too much to democracy, we shall soon shoot into a monarchy." - Alexander Hamilton.
The standards for democracy fall each day, while the public continues to believe in their constitutionally democratic nation. The rise of far-right politics grows with the fall in democracy, where one can see their rights on paper, but doesn't get to avail them. Far-right politics promote authoritarianism, limiting individual freedoms, naturally opposing democracy and all it stands for. Will Alexander Hamilton’s words come true? Has it already? These questions await you at UNGA, where we strive for a better tomorrow.
