Executive Board
UNCSW
Rajvini Rout
Chairperson of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women
“Lock up your libraries if you like; but there is no gate, no lock, no bolt that you can set upon the freedom of my mind.” - Virginia Woolf.
Whether it be contemporary fiction or unhinged Russian classics, there isn't a book genre Rajvini hasn't devoured. She listens to everything under the sun — from Jack Harlow and J Cole to Lana Del Rey and The Marias.
She believes that only when the political infrastructure of a country is not saturated with privileged men will we be able to break free from the ramifications of an oppressive and sexist society. Thus, it is high time we discuss UNCSW's agenda.

She strives to create a committee like the very first one she was part of — one that makes you feel welcome, appreciated and heard.
Here you go, world — the dynamic, enthusiastic, and chaotic — Rajvini Rout, Chair of the UNCSW!
Sanvi Mahajan
Deputy-Chairperson of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women
“There’s always gonna be another mountain and I'm going to want to make it move.”
Sanvi is one of the most motivated people I’ve ever seen. She can maintain her calm in committee and manage almost any situation. She leaves no effort whatsoever in making herself heard and putting her point out there. She has been learning kathak for 10 years and is an avid reader. She may give out “therapist friend” vibes and can be a total goofball at times but that doesn't distract her from her duties. Presenting to you the Co-chair of UNCSW-Sanvi Mahajan!
UNGA
Sana Jadhav
Chairperson of the United Nations General Assembly
If you happen to hear someone either singing 'Afterglow' by Taylor Swift with all their heart or putting up incredible points in history class, you've probably spotted Sana Jadhav.
Along with being one of the most joyous & understanding EB members you'll find, Sana is also a skilled football player and calls the sport her first love. She's possibly the only person who can be discussing the world's most complex problems, all with a smile on her face. Everyone who knows her well will tell you that she is the perfect chair for this agenda as she firmly believes that with the growth of far-right politics comes the absurd reality that one can see their rights on paper but does not have the basic opportunity to avail them.
She has a diverse taste in both music (Taylor Swift, Finneas & MGK) as well as subjects (History, Computer Science & Math) so it is definite that she can find some common ground to click with anyone and everyone. This SMUN 2022, Sana wants her delegates to fall in love with MUNning, just as she is. Presenting one of the most cheerful & opinionated people ever, the Chair of UNGA, Sana Jadhav!

Vranda Bansal
Deputy-Chairperson of the United Nations General Assembly
If you see someone switching between jamming to Taylor Swift's recent album and 1990's bollywood songs, you've probably run into Vranda Bansal.
She's one of the most diverse individual, excelling in every field she chooses to pursue. She knows how to hype you up like no other, but be sure not to be fooled by her easy going attitude, because when she's working on something, Vranda is a woman possessed, determined to make sure her work is nothing less than flawless.
Maybe it's her ability to speak her mind without any hesitance or maybe it's her mouth-watering brownies, but you can't help but love Vranda. If that isn't enough, she has an angelic voice that can captivate you within seconds.
Be it her passionate speeches, her approachability or her very questionable sense of humor, time spent in UNGA with her will be truly enthralling. Here's presenting to you, the quirky, the versatile, the brilliant, Vranda Bansal!
EU
Anshul Mitra
Chairperson of the European Union
With a munning career spanning over almost 6 years, Anshul has never stopped to look back. He started out as a delegate in the chaotic floors of League of Nations and continued his journey into becoming the Deputy Secretary General of SMUN Mahim. He chaired many committees on his way and with this chairing experience of several committees, Anshul ensures that his delegates get fair chances, keep their points forward with no hesitation and most importantly, enjoy themselves over the course of the MUN.

Apart from MUNs, Anshul has a keen interest in politics. The current European politics and its history intrigues him, which makes him the perfect chairperson to head the European Union. In short, being in Anshul's committee would mean an amazing experience with fun and learning.
Joshua Lewis
Deputy-Chairperson of the European Union
"Words are, in my not-so-humble opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic. Capable of both inflicting injury, and remedying it."
~ Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore

If you hear someone laugh at the silliest of jokes or jamming out to the beats of a Queen song, you've unmistakably come across Joshua. Having experienced his first MUN (where people compared human rights to camels), Joshua is bound to be patient with his delegates, striving to be the approachable and fun co-chair. With interests ranging from football to tribal survival techniques to animals, he is not only resourceful and versatile in committee but outside of it as well.
Other than being able to recite Big Bang Theory dialogues (having watched it thrice!), he is also the perfect co-chair of EU as he has always been fascinated with Europe's history. They have had revolutions, wars, dictators, fascists and most importantly some epic moustaches.
Presenting the Co-chair of the European Union, Joshua Lewis!

Pranav Arun
Chairperson of the Unified Historic Crisis Committee
A fierce debater, a sports freak, a global political autodidact and everything else in between - Pranav is a person who loves MUNning just because - I mean, it's a MUN! He is amiable and someone who loves to collaborate in committee. He's someone who loves to read books, watch documentaries, and listen to podcasts about various happenings across the world. An Arsenal fan, he can't stop thinking about their next game or transfer. Knowledgeable, fun and anything but calm at crisis committees, he is unrestricted and speaks his mind.
Presenting the chairperson of the GET SADDAM OUT OF POWER(!) committee - Pranav Arun!
Anindit Sengupta
Deputy-Chairperson of the Unified Historic Crisis Committee
It is said that the mind that opens to a new idea never returns to its original size. Such is the mind of Mr. Anindit Sengupta, a student of grade 10 who is ever inquisitive about the wonders of nature. His love for animals especially, reptiles makes him dive deeper into the world of fauna unknown to a common man. Encyclopedias fascinate him and he can spend hours reading about the unknown. This curiosity takes him one step further as he applies this skill to life, as well.
He listens to everyone with curiosity, speaks with honesty and acts with integrity which makes him loved by all. People who know him would vouch for his helping and approachable nature. This is the force that drives him further, helps him open new doors and experiment new avenues and create a niche for himself. His love for trigonometry makes him believe that life is like a trigonometry problem, when we start solving it, the level of difficulty increases, at every step we feel like quitting and taking up another sum, the pride and the sense of achievement after solving it is unmatched, especially, when we end by saying, ‘hence proved’. You cannot ignore his other fun loving side that is mad about stand up comedies and sports, so here is the Co-chair of the HCC committee, Anindit Sengupta!
Shubh Nirvan
Moderator of the Unified Historic Crisis Committee
When he's not playing basketball or grumbling about how the Percy Jackson movies do not correspond with the book, he's drumming up a sick beat on the tabla. Owing to the name, he is lovingly called- ‘Shubhesh Sir’, Shubh’s teacher-like skills and mature opinions always come in handy, especially while he’s MUNning. He’s a major bookworm and the 14 year old version of Gordon Ramsay with a taste for quality cuisine, his favourite method of cooking being roasting.
He's an excellent debater and prides himself on winning an argument against 60 people with Google on their side. Shubh is the perfect blend of serious and quirky, and he always knows just how to get the job done. He may seem a little intimidating, but don't worry - the guy is a real patron. Approach him and he'll guide you - all you need to do is ask.

International Press
Reina Ujual
Head of International Press
Meet Reina Ujual. An ardent lover of books, rain, and football, Reina lives by the saying ‘The pen is mightier than the sword.’ When she’s not obsessing over F.R.I.E.N.D.S, stickers she finds on Pinterest, or scribbling out stories in one of her 7 journals, she loves spending time with her friends and helping them in everything (especially if it involves writing!). She’s obsessed with Marvel, music and shopping for books.

Reina believes there is music for every occasion and everyone should have music, so don’t be surprised if she randomly brings up Selena Gomez or the Chainsmokers in your conversation. And whatever you do, don’t bring up any controversial topics because she can continue to make her point for the entire day, without giving you a chance to say a single word. She loves literature, and everything related to it and hopes to do something related to it in the future. She also hopes and tries to live by the words of Marlee Matlin, ‘Silence is the last thing the world will ever hear from me.’
