Dear Press Members,

It’s my honour to welcome you to the press team of the 10th edition of SMUN, Powai. The press plays an important role in the committee too. What we imprint on paper gets imprinted in the minds of the people reading the articles. We are here to entertain and inform our readers with our words. The press consists of two important components:

1.Journalism

2.Illustration

Together, we’ll create a newsletter like no other. A newsletter that will shine with each of your unique styles. Each word you write will give the readers insight into what happened in the committees, in the most hilarious and creative way. Every stroke of the brush (or pencil!) you use for your illustrations will help the readers relive the moment. You are expected to create an article based on what takes place in the committee with stories that will influence all those who read it. There will be pressurizing deadlines, confusion and many mistakes, but that will all make this experience one that you will always remember. I can personally assure you that the people you meet, the experiences you have, and the memories you make at SMUN, Powai will remain with you forever. I hope to see each one of you create your own magical stories and amaze us all!
